Port Phillip Estate’s ‘Salasso’ Rosé has established itself as one of Australia’s most loved examples of this increasingly popular styles.
The 2023 Port Phillip Estate Salasso Rosé has been made from Shiraz and Pinot Noir grapes grown at their Mornington Peninsula vineyards. An attractive salmon-pink colour, the nose offers notes of strawberry and orange peel together with a peppery spiciness.
Long and linear with a subtle creaminess, the palate delivers flavours of raspberry, redcurrant, cranberry and strawberry. Refreshingly moreish, this is a balanced, poised, savoury wine that will only enhance it’s reputation as one of Australia’s best Rosés.
